At the age of 34, our head chef Philip Blank has already worked at several star-rated restaurants. He not only has a lot of experience up his sleeve but also countless recipes from various top culinary addresses. Now back on home, he combines this know-how with down-to-earth southern German cuisine as the inspiration for “Swabional” delicacies.

Imagine the taste of our onion roast beef from Argentine cattle with port wine gravy, fried onions, homemade „Maultaschen” (Swabian pasta squares) and fried potatoes! We can assure you it tastes simply wonderful – and unmistakeably Hotel Rad.
Enjoy your meal in your favourite setting! When the weather’s fine, our sunny patio beckons with palm trees and olive bushes. When we serve up a meal at Hotel Rad, it’s not simply a question of „more, please” but also of ethics. In addition to our love of where we come from, every meal we prepare is a reflection of our passion, creativity and sincere values. We have deep-felt respect for animal life and we use selected natural, pure ingredients from the local region. A clear rejection of throwaway culture and packaging madness is likewise part of our kitchen code.
